Sweet Baby Ava...

If you haven't noticed, business has really slowed down for me! This is not by chance...I have decided to take a break from photography for 2011 to focus on raising and nurturing my two precious kiddos. I still use my camera and get practice in here and there. And today I had the privilege of photographing a precious newborn baby girl and her beautiful family. Her mommy is my best friend from childhood...and I am SO thankful that she let me "play" with her sweet baby today! I just LOVE this wonderful family...of FOUR!! :) Congratulations, guys! She's beautiful!! Here is a little sneak peek from our session....

My hubby took Isaac up to visit Grandma and Grandpa today. Naomi and I were supposed to go with, but since Naomi wasn't feeling very well, we decided that it would be best for us to stay back. So we had a girls day. I felt like creatively documenting some of the things we did...here's what evolved...ENJOY. :)

My sweet Isaac turned THREE this past week, and I can hardly believe it! And Naomi will be two in less than four months, now. Crazy how fast the time flies with two little ones!! LOVE these sweeties...(and YES...their eyes really are that blue!). :)

My good friends, Chris and Erin, welcomed their sweet baby boy into the world this past week! It's no secret that I LOVE photographing newborn babies...so what better way to end 2010 than with a 7-day-old cutie pie!?! This precious little guy did really well for us. He spent some of the time wide awake, and even looked RIGHT into the camera a few times! But when he was out...he was OUT! Santa Baby...

'Tis the season to be BORN! :) Introducing my adorable nephew...Owen Douglas! I was a little worried when I showed up this morning for our session and mommy and daddy told how Owen HATES having his clothes taken off! I wondered what kind of shots we were going to get with him all cuddled up. But I worked my magic and he didn't even realize that he was not only undressed...but we even got his diaper off! Hehe! :) Check out this cutie pie! LOVE his squishy lips and just LOOK at that adorable smile! :) Love you lots, little guy! And precious big sister, Morgan, even jumped in for one! :) Here's a little sneak peek from our session today...

Luke is TWO...well...almost! :)

You may remember this little guy...whether it was his 2, 6, 9, 12, or 18-month sessions...this family has been with me from the beginning! And I have just LOVED watching Luke grow into such a handsome little man! He will be turning two next month, and what a better way to mark the end of this special year with a photo session! It was cold outside yesterday (and snowy), but we were nice and warm indoors. He even showed off his new boots and adorable hats! Thanks for a GREAT session, guys...Luke is too cute for words! See for yourself...ENJOY! :)
This last one isn't a typical "portrait" kind of photo...but it made me smile big time, as he looks like a deer caught in headlights as he was sneaking behind the Christmas tree! Look at those BIG, beautiful eyes!! :)

I have had the privilege of working with this precious family since Liam's birth, about 16 months ago. It has been SO fun capturing his growth throughout the past year and a half. And now their family is growing again, as this beautiful couple is expecting baby number two (due to arrive in April)!! :) We had a lot of fun exploring the beauty of the IMA on this warm November day! Again, we were in downtown Noblesville on what seemed to be the windiest day of the year...but this little guy didn't seem to mind at all! Micah LOVED my camera, and really enjoyed dancing around and POSING for me! :) Oh...and he was all about the close-ups! :) I had a lot of fun...and I hope you guys did too! Better Late Than Never | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer

This sweet baby boy had one LONG entrance into the world. Being a week late, and after 51 hours of labor (concluding with 3 hours of pushing), baby Corwin was finally born via c-section. And then once he made his entrance, he spent some special time in the NICU. But he's a champ...and went home shortly after mama! At one week old, this little guy gets the award for most awake newborn baby! I have NEVER had a session with a baby as wide awake as he was...and completely content, too! :) SO sweet. I was just captivated by his eyes. He did finally fall asleep for us, and was out like a light. Here's a little sneak peek from our session!

This sweet baby boy was SUCH a pleasure to work with! With his FULL head of hair, at one week old, Lucas was cute as can be! He slept SO well for us, and was the perfect little model! I had a lot of fun today photographing these ADORABLE newborn twins! Andrew and Ella are just too cute for words! Ella was my smallest client to date, weighing just over 4lbs!! Just a tiny little thing...so small that she made her five and a half pound brother look big! Hehe. :) They both did SO well for our session today. I was amazed at how many smiles they were giving! And they have every reason to smile, with mommy as a pediatric nurse and daddy as a pediatrician, they are good hands! :) Here's a little sneak peek at some of the wonderful shots we got today! Littlest Hero...

I have the privilege of meeting and working with some VERY special families through an organization called Inspiration Through Art (formerly Littlest Heroes Project). This week, I got the chance to play with (and photograph) a truly amazing little guy. This is Jake - a 2-and-a-half-year-old bundle of energy...full of life and a walking miracle! This sweet boy charmed it up big time for the camera...a pleasant surprise for ALL of us! :) When Jake's parents found out that he was deaf, his dad responded by saying, "What's the worst thing that could happen? So we have to look at our child when we talk to him." What a beautiful way to look at their situation! Though Jake has been through SO much in his short little life, he has managed to overcome it all with a BIG smile! And THAT is what makes this little guy one of our Littlest Heroes!! :) Here's a little sneak peek from our session. Just look at how sweet he is!! :)

Sweet Little Lilly | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer

This precious baby girl is number four for my friend and fellow photographer, Leah Profancik. I offered to help Leah out with her newborn photos after hearing that she was recovering from a c-section. I cannot imagine trying to get those sweet newborn shots right after having major surgery! I also offered because I know how valuable it is to have mommy in some of the photos as well. We had a lot of fun...and you can totally tell through these photos how much she is loved! It was so fun for me to watch her big brothers and older sister ADORE her. Just look at how beautiful this family is!! Thanks, Leah, for allowing me to capture this time for you guys!! Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! :)

18 months and full of energy!

It was SO fun getting to hang out with this little guy again. Last year, I did his 3, 6, 9, and 12-month photos...and have missed seeing him until now! We met up again for his 18-month photos...and boy did we have FUN! He got to explore all sorts of things on the square...ending with some yummy ice cream! I am amazed at how big he's gotten...he's starting to look like such a little boy (a VERY cute little boy)!! :) Thanks for the wonderful session, Luke. You are an awesome little guy...I just LOVE your personality! Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek as much as I enjoyed capturing his cuteness!! :)

Liam is ONE!!

I have had the privilege of photographing this precious baby boy every three months for this past year. I LOVE doing Grow With Me packages with clients! I cannot even describe how amazing it is to track a baby's growth throughout the first year of life! They just change SO much...and so quickly! Liam started out as a tiny little guy...under 7 lbs...but you'd never guess that now! He is a solid little guy...and already walking VERY well! We met up at a local park, and enjoyed walking around town until the nearly 100 degree heat finally got to us! Then we headed back to their house for a fun cake smash session! Nick and Kelly...expecting

This weekend I got to work with this beautiful couple who are expecting their first baby (a sweet little boy) this fall. The first thing this mom-to-be said to me as I started snapping photos of them was, "Oh, I'm not very photogenic." Can you believe that?!? Just look at how BEAUTIFUL she is!!
